Import Exchange Rates
This Job makes it possible to import currency rates from the official NBG website for the specified period.
Required Settings
Before running the job, check the following settings:
- Choose the icon, enter Company information FastTab Payment:

Import Cur. Exch. Rates - enable this setting to import currency rates when running a job.

Import Conflict Resolution - select Replace.
- To create the Job, Choose the icon, enter Job Queue Entries and create new Job Queue Entry Card. Fill out the fields listed below:
Job Queue Entry Card → FastTab - General

1. | Object Type to Run | Specifies the type of the object, report or codeunit, that is to be run for the job queue entry. After you specify a type, you then select an object ID of that type in the Object ID to Run field. |

Job Queue Entry Card → FastTab - Recurrence

1. | Run on “days’’ | Specifies that the job queue entry runs on Mondays-Sundays. |
2. | Recurring job | Specifies if the job queue entry is recurring. If the Recurring Job check box is selected, then the job queue entry is recurring. If the check box is cleared, the job queue entry is not recurring. After you specify that a job queue entry is a recurring one, you must specify on which days of the week the job queue entry is to run. Optionally, you can also specify a time of day for the job to run and how many minutes should elapse between runs. |
3. | No. of Minutes between Runs | Specifies the minimum number of minutes that are to elapse between runs of a job queue entry. The value cannot be less than one minute. This field only has meaning if the job queue entry is set to be a recurring job. If you use a no. of minutes between runs, the date formula setting is cleared. |
4. | Starting Time | Specifies the earliest time of the day that the recurring job queue entry is to be run. |
5. | Ending time | Specifies the latest time of the day that the recurring job queue entry is to be run. |
Running Import Exchange Rates
Job Queue Import Exchange Rates will import currencies according to the marked days and set time.
Process:

After setting new job card, the status in General FastTab is On Hold.

After clicking Set Status to Ready in the ribbon the process of importing begins.

In case of not importing currencies by some reason, status changes to Error.

To check error reason check Show Error and Log entries from ribbon.

If it is needed to hold the process for some days maybe, use Set on Hold.
To run an Import Exchange Rates job manually without Job queue:

Choose the icon, enter Import Exchange Rates, and then choose the related link.
Alternatively, on the Currencies page, click Actions → Functions → Import Exchange Rates
Note. When running a job from the Currencies list page, currency rates will be imported for a selected currency only. For currencies that have enabled Import in Currencies list.
After the job is completed, the imported currency rates can be checked:

from the Currencies list in the Exchange Rate field.

from the Currencies list , or Currency Card by clicking Actions → Exch. Rates.
